The Kummanam Waterfalls Mattannur

But the ‘Thattukada’s’ here provide lip-smacking dishes for food lovers. There is a narrow path here which leads to the waterfall. This is the only way to reach the spot and there are no signboards to help you out either. The small waterfall here is known as ‘Kavummoola’. A rare spot to cool your body and soul, the water falls down from top into the small pool of water lying between rocks. The water looks crystal clear in the small pools and one can see many fish swimming around in these pools. The path though slippery is not dangerous. As you enjoy breath-taking scenery around, do not miss the chance to enter the pool of water to experience the sensation of cool water touching your feet.
