Gwalior fort in Madhya Pradesh

Gwalior ,famous for its Jainist monuments ,especially the caves in the Gwalior Fort.The fort is situated in the very slope of Gopachal mountain. No one can simply avoid such a beautiful right. There are 21 caves with large and small in size. Each cave have well builted and holds the statues of  Jain "Theerthankaras" the sacred people in Jainism.Around 1500 statues are there in the caves which have the height of 6 inches to 58 feet.The statue of first Theerthankara,Adinadh have 59 feet height .Number of statue were rained by various reason of climate changes or they cannot service to the ages.We can also see unfinished statues they were also devastated .Only two or three statues are kept sacred and keeping up the rituals the caves are seemed as like as Ajantha ana Ellora.We can early reach there with the help of share taxis. If we step down  infront of the caves it leads to the main road to the town
